Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) 5 MP Camera with 5-inch HD Display

Samsung company on Monday unveiled the latest offering in its Galaxy J-Series of the budget to the mid-range device the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017). Launched with AT&T in the US, the headset is priced at $179.99 (roughly Rs. 11,500) and will be available online as well as via AT&T retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) phone sports a 5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen, 16M Colors display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. It is powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with 1.5GB of RAM. It sports a 5 MP, rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full-HD video recording at 30fps, while the front camera has a 2 MP resolution. The Samsung company is touting a Beauty Effect in Selfie mode.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). The device offers 16GB of internal storage (ROM) that’s expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The device connectivity options, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) powered by a 2600mAh battery, the device is rated to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time, and up to 17 days of standby time.
