Vivo Y25 Launched Price in India, Specs, Features

Vivo company has launched a new budget device with 4G support in Malaysia, the Vivo Y25 at a price of MYR 499 (roughly Rs. 7,500). Even though there has been no word about an international launch yet, it might be hard for the headset to stand out if it is eventually launched in India considering its seemingly underpowered specifications.

The Vivo Y25 device runs on Android v5.1 (Lollipop) and comes with a 4.50-inches FWGA IPS capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 845 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It headset packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y25 device packs a 5 MP primary camera, tagged with LED flash, and a 2 MP camera at the front for selfies and video chatting. The headset packs a 1900mAh, non-removable battery and measures 130.7×66.4×9.2mm. The device offers connectivity options including 4G connectivity, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The headset includes a proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.

Last month, Vivo company launched its Y55s device in India at Rs. 12,490. The device runs company's Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved edge screen. The headset is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Vivo Y55s comes with 16GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. It packs a 13 MP rear camera and has a 5 MP camera at front. The headset houses a 2730mAh battery.
