Sony Xperia L1 Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS, 13 MP Rear Camera Launched

The Sony on Monday announced a new entry-level device, called the Xperia L1. The Sony highlights a sharp display on near edge-to-edge screen. The new device is being offered in black and pink color options.

The Sony Xperia L1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The headset 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels with 267 PPI pixel density per inch. The headset is powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, Mediatek MT6737T processor with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable 128GB via MicroSD card.



The Sony Xperia L1 include a 13 MP, f/2.2, autofocus, LED flash primary camera and 5 MP front-facing a camera. The headset camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama with 1080p@30fps video recording system.

The Xperia L1 dual-SIM device packs a 2620mAh battery with Sony’s STAMINA mode for battery saving. The smartphone measures 151 x 74 x 8.7mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180 grams.

The Sony Xperia L1 connectivity options include 4G LTE with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The headset includes Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, and Barometer.
